# Community Involvement 🌱

DOT holders can contribute to projects they find valuable and, depending on the parachain, receive rewards for doing so.

This is similar to contributing to crowdloans in the previous slot auction model. However, it is important to note that instead of locking the tokens, the tokens are now spent. Because of this, parachains will likely define rewards to incentivize DOT token holders to help them procure Coretime.

Via the RegionX UI, users will be able to make these contributions and browse the parachains looking to procure Coretime.
